The carcass and drawer are manufactured in 18mm thick white MFC with 2mm ABS lipping to edges.

Each filing cabient comes with a powder-coated steel support bar that hooks into the slotted uprights, and is delivered assembled with three sets of twin circular steel discs that locate into the bar. Spacer plates are already fitted to the bottom of the back and sides of the carcass to prevent sideways movement within the uprights.
